congratulation to a nice and free piece of software :-)
I own a Dell D600 with a broadcom wlan card and the wrapper worked well
for me this morning, when I used it on a not encrypted network.
However, when I tried to use it at home, where I have a 48bit WEP
encryption on channel/index 3, it gave me the diss.
I apologize for not having searched through all the mailinglist
archives, as sourceforge does not provide a search function for
non-paying customers (or I am blind?).
So the problem is, that when configuring the card with iwconfig as
$ iwconfig $if essid MYAP enc XX open
the card does associate with the AP but I will not have a working
network; the 'Invalid misc' counter increases when I see traffic.
Also, when configuring the card's WEP with two iwconfig commands:
$ iwconfig wlan0 enc XX
$ iwconfig wlan0 enc  open
it will disable the encryption (?!). That's what I used to do with the
lucent orinoco card.
Is this a known bug/FAQ, or might I be the only one using a non-std.
channel/index for encryption?
I'd appreciate any suggestions to fix that problem :)
