Hello, John.

I wrote a how-to for SuSE distros (the ones I prefer) and put it on my website. There are some SuSE specific problems with ndiswrapper, which my how-to addresses (such as the 0.8 module built into the SuSE kernel, which conflicts with whatever version you compile).  Hopefully it will be of some use to you. The link is: http://nextgen.no-ip.org/~andrew/ndiswrapper/index.html

And, just so you know, there's an excellent forum available at http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de available to you, should you have other SuSE related problems.

Hey, another Wisconsinite! Glad to hear it.

My name is John Tankersley and i am seeking help with installing ndiswrapper. I found it on my distribution disc for SuSE Linux 9.2 professional.
I have a D-Link DWL-G510 wireless card and it is on your list for supported cards. I don't understand how to install the windows driver with the ndiswrapper
command.  The drivers are on a disc that came with the network adapter card,  The command you gave in your suggestions was # ndiswrapper -i [inf_file].
I don't undestand how to install the windows driver off of the disc.
