Thanks for making ndiswrapper!
Ive compiled and installed ndiswrapper, got the xp drivers and now when i do
it says the driver and hardware is present
Now when i get to modprobe ndiswrapper, it dosnt produce any error message but when i check dmesg the only thing it says (well it says loads but the only thing that looks like its from ndiswrapper) is
No IPV6 routers present.
I can see wlan0 in iwconfig and have followed that part of the setup but i cant connect to the net! any suggestions? THis is the output i see

thanks a lot!
I checked again, and i do have the messge in dmesg that the drivers are loaded ok and so everything seems ok.
I get the No IPv6 routers present when i do dhcpcd wlan0.
Any ideas how to get arround that? Why does it have to be IPv6??? i thought v6 and v4 were similar anyway!
So i can get the driver working, just cant configure suse to use it
When i check in kwifimanager i can see a little graph of the signal and it seems to woble up and down like i'd expect - ie not constantly zero or 100% so it must be working a bit. also it finds the mac address of my router when i give it the right essid, so it must be communicating at some level....
Any help would really be appriciated.
Also, I cant get into ur irc chat room!
