Problem: Compile goes smoothly, drivers install fine and list hardware as being present, but dmesg isn't showing driver being loaded just the ndiswrapper module being loaded (also listing as .6 + CVS, this was the .10 downloaded from the site). Also if i do a iwconfig it shows that there is no wireless extension available. I get no errors what so ever. Here is a very detailed list of my hardware/software and then a cut/paste from the console of the whole process that i went through, just incase i missed a step.

    Thanks, Looking Forward to Help!

is this the first install of ndiswrapper for you? if not, did you remove all the old software before starting?

if you do "iwconfig wlan0 mode Managed ap any essid any" what happens?

as for the dmesg, is really all you had for an output or did you cut the unimportant stuff?

if your computer takes the iwconfig command above does "iwlist wlan0 scan" come up with any wifi routers to connect to?
