    Hi
I am new to linux world. I am trying to install ndiswrapper to enable my WLAN. Everything seems to be going fine, except that I don't see my driver getting added.

This is the log i have:
    [root@localhost driver]# make install

WARNING: Kernel seems to have 4K size stack option (CONFIG_4KSTACKS) removed; many Windows drivers will need at least 8K size stacks. You should read wiki about 4K size stack issue. Don't complain about crashes until you resolve this.

=> I had the same message when I installed ndiswrapper without rebooting my machine after installing 16K stack kernel. So I removed ndiswrapper, rebooted my machine and then re-installed ndiswrapper. Everything seemed ok.

      [root@localhost driver]# ../utils/ndiswrapper -l
      Installed ndis drivers:
      bcmwl5 driver present, hardware present
=> It looks like your driver is installed and ndiswrapper
      found the matching hardware:)

I am not sure how to change the kernel stack size, if you can give me some pointer, it will be great.

Still, this will cause the driver to crash, what I am not seeing is, in system log, a message that says driver added.

I will try your sugg. first.
