Hello I am completely new to linux as an operating system. I installed it the other day on my laptop. everything went smoothly except I cannot seem to get my wireless card to work. It is a Linksys WPC54GS. It is my understanding that because Linux does not naitively support this device I can use ndiswrapper to wrap the driver into linux. I have spent the majority of this afternoon fooling with the whole process. The whole terminal thing is a little overwhelming. After following a few tutorials on the subject I found myself a little confused and with no clue what i had exactly done to my system. I believe I do have ndiswrapper installed but the settings and what not have been moddified by my messing around through these tutorials.
I am running Ubuntu 8.10
If theres any more info you guys need to help me out just let me know.
Thanks
JC
