any help gretly appreciated, pretty new to linux & ndiswrapper
I am trying to get my ASUS WL-138G wireless card to work with ndiswrapper.
The driver I am using appears to be okay, and installs okay.
dmesg output indicates the ndiswrapper driver has loaded, but that the wlan is not initialised (ie there is no startup info following the ndiswrapper 1.2 loaded line.
lspci -n gives pciid of 10ec:8139
after having looked at the driver files in /etc/ndiswrapper/mrv8k51 I see that the .conf files are for a different pciid.(ie I am using the wrong driver ??!)
I have tried downloading the latest drivers fromm ASUS, but they fail to install properly, and I have tried all files that came on the cd (for XP,ME,2K & 98)
Can anyone point me in the direction of a driver that will work for this card ?
or does anyone have a work around for this ?
btw : using Fedora core 4
