Subject says it all, I need to whitelist only operations. 20+ calls a day for spamming or Medicare/Medicaid. Mostly spamming.

    Use HANGUP-CALLS

You probably should review the man pages and the user manual:
    NCID Manual Pages
    NCID User Manual

Let me guess, it's in a version after 1.3-1 ? BTW, I am still running stretch o/s.
Before you say it, yes I am running an old version of NCID and Pi O/S. But then the saying goes: If it ain't broke don't fix it. And it still runs like a charm.

I have been looking for a reason to upgrade the PI (or a different 2B) and NCID. PI's are really, really hard to find these days. Any avoid suggestions for my upgrading project ? like: not using 64 bit or other ?

Happy to hear from you John, Thanks

Newer versions of NCID support extension scripts for hangup, and you will need to upgrade to the newest version of Raspbian.
You might like the hangup-greylist extension which gives an announcement and lets the caller through if they listen to it and call back almost immediately.

Server extensions were added in release 1.4. The hangup-calls extension was included in release 1.5. You can upgrade to release 1.5, but as Ed said, you should upgrade to the current supported version. NCID has the current features.

Sourceforge has all the NCID releases that were at Sourceforge. If you upgrade to the current release and have problems, we can help, or you can go back to release 1.3, or release 1.5.

The Raspberry Pi 4 2B supports 64-bit and the Raspberry Pi OS has a 64-bit distribution.
    I purchased a Rasberry Pi 400. It has a P i 4 2B inside a keyboard.

Look at Raspberry Pi products. It will list places where you can buy them when you click on buy.

I got the 400 from PiShop.US, It has the Pi 400 and the Pi 4 2B in stock. I did not check the other places listed that sell the products, but you should.
