ncidd runs but ncid won't connect

    I have ncidd running (OS X 10.4.6) just fine, but neither ncid nor ncid picks up the messages, whether on the same computer or over the network.

    Here's part of the log file:

      Send me the debug output. Also create /var/ciddata.log and run program again. Send me ciddata.log. From what I see above, the modem outputs XNAME instead of NAME. I can take that into account.
