Running NCIDpop Version: 0.10.11.0 (on Windows 10).
Process dates as European format has no effect - dates remain in MMDDYYYY format.
Confirmed not at problem with "cidcall.log".
Dates change correctly when changing setting on NCID Android.

    Same prob here
tried one solution found online using "set AltDate = 1"
must be for other caller id prog or old version cos NCID then fails start/restart with that in ncidd.conf

The AltDate option is for the ncid client, not the ncidd server.

You can use the ncid client instead of NCIDpop until this fixed. If you are using Fedora, Ubuntu or Raspbian you need to install the client package. Clicking on Preferences will allow you to configure the date format to your liking. Here are some ncid screenshots.

The date information from the ncid server to the clients is always in the same format, e.g. DATE11302018TIME1851 and is rearranged by the client for display.

The version on NCIDpop that I am running says it is 0.10.12.0 and is handling the european date format correctly. I'll look into making it available.

    Edit: add screen shot
