    Does nc_net run under 64bit Win2K3?

I have .net 2.0 installed (netfx64.exe) and when I try to install nc_net it tells me it requires .NET Framework 1.1.4322

I havn't run into that message on any 32bit Win2K3 hosts with .net 2 or 3 installed, so I assumed .net 2.0 was a superset of 1.1. Is this not the case for 64 bit? or is the installer just not checking things correctly.

The current version of NC_Net should be able to be installed on any system with DOt Net 2.0
Thus the msi package you are using may be NC_NET 1.X or 2.X as of version 3 NC_NET requires Dot net 2.0. and no longer uses Dot Net 1.1

If you are sure you are using the latest version of NC_NEt 4.?? and you are experiancing this issue, then it is most likely an issue with  MW Windows Installer on 64bit Win2k3

I was trying to use the version that was posed on http://www.shatterit.com/nc_net/.
What's weird is the site says it's 2.28, but control panel says it's 1.0.1

I didn't realize you weren't updating the shatterit page anymore.

      Thanks

        Yes that is correct.

I no longer work for ShatterIT thus I have no access for Maintenance of their site. Thus it is misleadding,

All downloads of NC_NEt should be from Sourceforge. Also if things change in the future, my persoal web space www.montitech.com is the only other true Official location for accurate information.

Does the newer versions work correctly on 64bit win2k3 (rectofy the issue from original post)
Please note the Startup.cfg has changes so make sure to use the newer version if you are using a custom config.
