#253 Interpreter Error with Rune in Deeps quest

Just found Haxima a few weeks ago and am having a blast playing it. However, I am now getting an interpreter error when I try to load a saved game after bringing the dragon\'s blood to the Alchemist and receiving the \"A Rune in the Deeps\" quest. I did some experimenting, saving the game just before speaking to the Alchemist, and again just after. The \"before\" save loads fine. The \"After\" save gets the Interpreter Error.

Hope that there is a solution to this! This game takes me back to my childhood playing through the first five games in the Ultima series, and finding it has been a refreshing discovery for me.

Thanks for the quick fix. Confirmed that this solved the problem. Saw where you changed the double quotes to singles.

Also confirmed that a subsequent save/load after the fix does not cause a repeat of the problem.

OK, I have committed a fixed quests-data-static.scm, which just avoids using the escaped quotation. This should fix any saves that are in progress but aren't actually crashing already.
