    Hi,

I installed the Wince version on a SD card for my GPS in the car. It starts and I can do the menu setup at the beginning and then go to the map without any problems. The GPS icons are at the top right of the screen. But the other icons that should be on the left & right hand side of the screen is missing. It will flash up on the screen now and then if I touch the screen. Any way I can force the icons to the front of the screen?

    Kind regards.
    Pieter

    Hi again Pieter,
the application layout on your 800x480 device should look something like the image below:
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/navegis/files/Images/NAVeGIS2018071201.jpg
Could you confirm that the buttons are appearing correct and positioned in their corresponding locations?
Also, consider the fact that the buttons are displaying on the screen for a limited time by design, and they reappear again on position whenever you tap the device.
In the case that you wish to try modifying manually the button position, you could edit file "Buttons.ini" located inside application's folder, where "pos_x" & "pos_y" represent the upper left button corner and "Alignment_x" & "Alignment_y" the button alignment.
    Best regards.

The icon pops up in the same place as in the photo. The thing is they don't stay on screen but disappear agian immediatly, so I don't even get time to press on them. Even at start up they also dissapear immediatly. From your discription above it sound like the timing must be messing around. Is there a setting where I can play around with the icons timings?

So, they do not reappear right after your next tap?
We are dealing with a touch screen WinCE device, is that right?

Also, the time interval determining when to hide the UI is hardcoded to 15 seconds after user's last input.

Checked again. As soon as the map appears the icons flashes on and is gone. I can tab the screen, drag my fingers across nothing pops up. After a short while it will flash up again and is gone again for a while. Only the icons in the top black strip is constant. Jip, touch screen. Although a different make name it is identical to the unit I have: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-din-car-dvd-player-gps-navigation-cd-mp3-mp5-usb-sd-Bluetooth-1DIN-Telescopic-structure/32815515850.html

I'm really sorry, but I cannot reproduce the issue on my pocket device. Unfortunately, I do not have real access to an actual in-dash car GPS system, so I cannot short out the possibility that it might be some software bug that I'm unaware of, and not a device specific behaviour.

i have exactly the same problem :(. My device: EONON G2240 (win ce.net 6.0) with touch screen. I have to tap twice real fast at the right spot in order to active the function of the (dissapearing) button - this approach is only successful a fraction of the times - I guess that I am too old and slow :)

The issue will be resolved in the next release.
