About

Nautilus is a advanced file manager used on Linux system and is part of the Gnome Desktop Environment. The objectives for this small project is provide a easy way to view quickly the geographic information on GeoTIFF files without need of open it on a specialized software.

Getting Started

For install the geotiff extension for Nautilus, you can download one precompiled package for your system or compile it easily from the source code (remember that it was created for compilation and use on Linux system)

Activate the Extension

After installed you must restart the Nautilus and can toggle on the geographic columns in Nautilus preferences and when detected one supported file a new page will be added on property page.
