Hi,

I try ton configure nasm-0.98.25 on my Linux system and
i got this:

# ./configure --help
bash: ./configure: bad interpreter: No such file or
directory

Can you help me ?
And another thing : it would be great if the tarball
could create a directory when detarring, and not
extracting files in ./

Best regards,

Pierre.

There are quite a few problems with 0.98.25 (it was the
first time I had uploaded a version with any "fixes", and I
had sued the files from the old CVS tree, which turned out
to be broken. 0.98.25alt was produced fairly quickly to fix
it (and naturally I know what to do to avoid the same
    problems another time).

The current version (if you don't already have it) is
0.98.30, which has a few more bugfixes and minor
enhancements. That should work better on all systems (in
particular, a problem with some of the P4 instructions,
which I had erroneously altered in 0.98.25, has been fixed
    again).

Hopefully, that version is the only version to not extract
to it's own directory (it's a shame it has so many
downloads, I think we need to make it a hidden file, to
prevent too many more people using it).
