NAS4Free 9.2.0.1 Release 972 Support

Realy useful raid-patch, but ... i cant install it on current release nas4free =(
I have a LSI MegaSAS Gen2 (9260-16i) controller with 16 3TB HDDs.

nas4free: raid_controller_patch # smartctl -d sat -a /dev/pass0 | grep -i temp

All is ok but, how can I get all hdds on the web interface to enable smart monitoring (smartd)?
Can the patch fix this?
Is it planned to release new one for support current version nas4free (9.2.0.1-972)?

Sorry Willy this is a really basic question but....

I'm newbie at linux/nas4free can you tell me how I apply the patch step by step, or point me to some extern instruction/examples please?

Did you read the README.txt? Tell me at which points you have trouble with installing the patch.

Hello there, I am having some issues using this patch for the 3Ware 9650SE-12ML

During the installation it just comes back with the following line and ends:

"medianas: raid_controller_patch # ./SETUP.sh
smartd will be restarted now."
