Hi!
I'm configuring Nas4Free 9.2.0.1.943 x86 on two nodes.
I've successfully configured carp and hast (vip switching between the two nodes and hastctl status complete on both).
If I try to add the Disk via the web interface I only see the physical disks and can't choose the devices created under /dev/hast/

Thanks for your hard work.

I have also run into the above bug on 9.2.0.1 64-bit embedded.

For me however, changing "hastctl status" out for "hastctl list" in /etc/inc/util.inc did let me see the hast devices and create volumes based on them (although the gui still threw errors about config mismatches and marked the entries red). I did have to change the command in two separate locations however (lines 860 and 2076).

The drives persist through reboot (even though the web gui's representation doesn't) so the volumes stay up even after util.inc gets reverted since I'm using embedded.

    SiberX,
thanks for the patch to /etc/inc/util.inc.

To solve the persistence issue I saved my config and re-installed using option 2, then answered "no" to swap.

Mount the 2nd partition on the usb stick and copy an edited /etc/inc/util.inc to it.
Then in system ->advanced -> command scripts -- add a postinit command cp /mnt/usbpart2/util.patched.inc /etc/inc/util.inc

    thanks
    steve

I have two sm l56xx, (8) 3tb ea on 9.2.0.1-959 64 embedded running hast/carp, zfs, iscsi - close to operational. Currently working on iscsi not starting.
