NArchivist 0.4 Released

NArchivist 0.4 has just been released. This release has a completely reworked encryption system. NArchivist no longer relies on m2secret, going directly into M2Crypto.EVP instead. This also allows us to stream our files to and from the stores, allowing us to handle larger files with low memory overhead.

NArchivist 0.3 Released

NArchivist 0.3 has just been released, adding a GUI client for restoring, RackSpace CloudFiles support and numerous other improvements. It is now considered "Beta" software, as it performs well enough to trust, though there are likely several cases in which it won't do what you'd expect nor want.

NArchivist 0.2 released

I've just "released" version 0.2 of NArchivist, which now includes a setup routine and does encryption. This release does a pretty fair job of backing up files, but should still be considered experimental and not yet trustworthy.

First commit available

The first commit to SCM contains a more-or-less working backup engine and a command-line installer/configuration tool. This is definitely ALPHA code, and NOT ready for production use. But it's a good starting point. I invite reviews, comments and offers of help.
