Hello,

Using Win7 Pro.
I'm working with a Canon CanoScan LiDE 100. It has buttons on the front of the scanner such as "copy", "scan", "pdf", "email".

I tried to change the default action of these buttons by right clicking the scanner and selecting "Scan Properties", and then going to the "events" Tab.

NAPS2 does not show up in the list of available programs to launch.

With a little research, I was going to add NAPS2 to the list by creatinga registry entry here using it's GUID (it's product code)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
explorer\AutoplayHandlers\Handlers\

I was following this tutorial:
http://icopy.sourceforge.net/register-your-application-to-scanner-events/

However, when I run the command "wmic product get > output.txt" NAPS2 is not in this list, it seems to not have a product code.

How can I find the product code for the various versions of NAPS2 that I install in my environment?

You're software is great, by the way. It has created consistency across our environment instead of using the complicated and disorganized bundled software that comes with scanners.

Thanks,
Wayne
