Feature request: stitch partial scans
Scan documents to PDF and other file types, as simply as possible.

It would be very useful to be able to scan originals that are larger than the flatbed scanner area in multiple passages, and have Naps2 stitch the different images together into a larger one.
For example, to scan an A3 sheet with an A4 scanner (A3 = 2 * size of A4) one would capure 3 overlapping images: left, center, right, then select the three images in Naps2, select a merge action and have the software automatically detect the overlap, apply deskew if required and produce a single, merged image.
I don't know if it is possible to reuse here, but the technology exists in open source panorama image generators such as Hugin (front end) and pantools (library) - both projects are on SourceForge.
