The options for Scan Resolution are limiting and the jumps are very high (especially from 200 to 300 dpi).

Adding to the dropdown the resolution of 250 dpi would be very beneficial since in a lot of cases 200 dpi is too low and 300 dpi too high.

Even better would be the option to enter the value manually.

Agreed. And some scanners are picky and only offer certain discrete resolutions...

Hello, I would very much like this option also, esp to add custom resolutions suitable to one's printer. In my case (Epson XP-3100), there is a resolution of 240dpi that sits in the sweet spot between 200-300 dpi.

I can use that 240dpi by using the "Use Native UI" option, but that's slower than using "Predefined settings".

So please, let us add custom scan resolutions, e.g. via one of the XML config files !

ps: tested with Portable naps2 (windows) 7.4.2

I would like to second this request! My scanner works optimal at 360 dpi, but there is no way to achieve this with NAPS settings (except using the cumbersome native UI, which renders NAPS useless).
