#60 Issue with Epson Twain 5
Sys overview:
NAPS2 Ver 4.1.1.31000 running on Win 7 x86 (new install).
Scanner is an Epson Perfection 1250 running Epson Twain Ver 5.71A
(Vista driver recommended by Epson for Win 7 x86).
Nature of Problem:
Profile identifies Epson Twain 5 and calls the native Epson UI just fine.
Scanner goes through the motions but NAPS 2 cannot acquire the output image.
Nor can NAPS 2 acquire directly itself (bypassing the native UI).
Other software is successful ie Photoshop CS, Epson Smart Panel 3.6
Any ideas?

Hi Ben,
Thanks for getting back so quickly!There are no error messages generated either during or after the scan and the scanner appears to function normally.ie it performs a pre-scan, allows an image crop to be performed and then executes a scan as per normal.
All that happens is that the image does not appear in the application window.No error logs were generated.All I have in the appdata folder is profiles.xml | config.xml | Recovery Folder (empty).I've attached the 2 .xml files in case there is something gone wrong in the setup.

What exactly happens when you try to scan? Is there any kind of error message, or does it simply not add the image?The first thing I would check is the error log. You can find it in the folder %APPDATA%\NAPS2. For example, if your Windows user name is Col, then it's at "C:\Users\Col\AppData\Roaming\NAPS2\errorlog.txt". If you could attach that to this ticket, there might be something in it that could help identify the problem.
