I started using NAPS2 a couple of days ago; awsome software, well on par with heavily priced alternatives.
One feasure that I found missing is median filtering. This is the graphics processing algorithm that removes stray pixels from B/W documents. It makes the scanned document way more usable, and just as importnatly -- noticeably smaller.
