Hello NAPS2 team,

I would like to suggest adding a Portrait/Landscape orientation setting to scan profiles.

Currently, a profile can specify the paper size, but there does not appear to be a way to specify the page orientation as Portrait or Landscape.

For example, it would be useful to create separate profiles such as:

  • A4 Portrait
  • A4 Landscape

This would allow the orientation to be defined as part of the profile, rather than requiring the user to adjust it separately when scanning.

I think this would be particularly useful in work environments where different types of documents are scanned repeatedly. Profiles could then define a more complete and consistent set of scanning settings for each document type.

NAPS2 already has a very useful profile system, and adding a Portrait/Landscape option would make it even more effective for standardizing scanning workflows.

Thank you for considering this feature request.

Best regards,
