Until recently I had no issues using the physical scan-to button on my Brother MFC-J1010DW to choose a pc, which would then open NAPS2 and scan. But since updating from firmware 1.15 to 1.20, the Brother says No PC found when the scan button is pressed. Power-cycling printer, pc, and router doesn't help. Same situation on 2 different home networks in different locations, with 2 Win10 pc's on each. Initiating the NAPS2 scan at a pc still works fine, whether I use WIA, Twain or ESCL, but the printer's scan-to button was convenient. I could probably install and use Brother's bloated iPrint and Scan software to restore the button's functionality (in fact, maybe that was an intentional aspect of the fw update), but much prefer to continue using NAPS2. Brother won't provide me access to the old firmware. Any ideas on a possible workaround so that I can still use the printer's scan-to button with NAPS2? (I guess there's also a small possibility a Windows Update is somehow responsible, but I doubt it.) Thanks.
