#1343 Black stripe running length of page

Hello. I have an issue that just cropped up the other day that I have never seen before. My scanner output is displaying a black stripe running about one third of page across and down the entire length of the page. It only happens on the second page of a duplex scan. It occurs whether it is a blank page or has copy on it. However, single sided scanning works without issue for 9+ pages. I re-booted the scanner (Brother MFC-J6955DW) and a pc with MS Windows 11. I tried creating several more scanning profiles, all of which produced the same results. I realize the issues could be my scanner. So, it there anything that I can do to confirm it is not NAPS2 issue?
