#1327 MAPI - Failure

Environment
OS: Windows 11
Email client: Microsoft Outlook (classic), 64-bit, set as default mail client
Office install type: Microsoft 365 / Click-to-Run
NAPS2: 64-bit (latest version at time of testing)
New Outlook toggle: Off (classic Outlook UI in use)

I am experiencing an issue on a Windows 11 device when trying to send a scanned document via the built in “send by email” feature in NAPS2. When I attempt to send a scanned PDF, I receive the following error:

“Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfil the messaging request. Please run Outlook and set it as the default mail client.”

Outlook itself works normally, and running mailto:test@example.com successfully opens a new email in Outlook. Outlook is also set as the default application for all required email/file types in Windows.
