The current version 7.1.0 behaves differently from version 6.1.2 with regard to EPSON ET-3850 which has an automatic sheet feeder. I have Windows 7, the EPSON uses TWAIN. The older version read the sheet feeder automatically when I had a glass option as default and there was paper in the sheet feeder. This was very convenient as I needed only to press the Scan button (no manual selection of paper source). Could this behavior be reinstated (or added as an option for those who want it)? This uses the automatic paper source recognition of the EPSON, and some scanners may not have this option.
I agree, an option for automatic recognition of the scan source would be extremely useful (here, Epson WF 2935). I mean, if the is paper in the feeder use the feeder (NAPS2 already knows if the is paper or not in the feeder); if not, use the flatbed. TIA.
