Try this:
1. Control Panel
2. Devices and Printers
3. Right click your scanner
4. Scan Properties
5. Events tab
6. Select NAPS2 under "Start this program" for the relevant event
But the list that appears does not include NAPS2, nor does the list that pops up when Windows wants me to choose.

As it stands, I have to use the scan button in the NAPS2 app, which is a pain and the only thing I don't like about the program. I'd prefer not to hack the registry.
