Moving from Windows 10 to Windows 11, installed fresh NAPS2 v 8.1.4.0, but the only paper source for my device is Feeder. In Win10, I had NAPS2 version 7.3.0.0 and had options Feeder, Glass and Duplex. I downloaded 7.3.0.0 to Windows 11 (but not installed) and all the options are available. I do want Duplex. Did something change between NAPS2 versions? I checked the driver is the same - Neat ADF Scanner Driver version 3.0.5.2 dated 12/13/2013. Thanks for your help.

Update: I copied profiles.xml in my AppData\Roaming\NAPS2 folder from Windows 10 to 11, which had a duplex profile set up and now I have Duplex as an option in the Paper Source dropdown (as well as Feeder and Glass). Scanning does generate a 2 page scan. So, for now I'm sorted.

Are you using the WIA or TWAIN driver? What scanner model? If you re-select the device in the profile (by clicking the Choose Device button) does that reset it to Glass+Feeder or does it have Duplex too? (if you've fixed it that might reset it so you may want to copy the profiles.xml again)

I'm using the Twain driver. Model is Neat ND-1000. If I re-select the device, it does reset the Paper Source dropdown to just Feeder. I cancelled the dialog so my profile still is ok and don't need to copy the profiles again.
