I use a Kyocera Ecosys MA2100cwfx with NAPS2. Both WIA drivers and TWAIN drivers from Kyocera are installed. Until recently, I used the latest version 7 of NAPS2 (v7.5.3). Then, I updated to version 8.1.1. Now whenenever I start scanning a single page placed on my Kyocera (flatbed), the page is scanned correctly but then NAPS continues to produce empty non-existing pages. It does this until I forcefully close NAPS2 using Windows Task Manager. Cancelling in NAPS2 does not work. I do not get an error message in NAPS2. It just continues producing these empty non-existing pages.
Going back to NAPS2 v7.5.3 and the problem was gone. In both versions of NAPS2, I used the same settings for the scanner profile. I use the TWAIN drivers because the WIA drivers do not work with NAPS2. (With the WIA drivers, I always get the same message that the scanner is busy.)
I suppose this is a problem with the scanner driver, not NAPS2, but any idea what I could try to fix it? Otherwise, I will just stick with version 7.5.3 for now.

This should be fixed in 8.1.3.
