Bugs item #1161589, was opened at 2005-03-11 11:16 Message generated for change (Comment added) made by cwensley You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=474851&aid=1161589&group_id=54790 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: John Cole (johnwebbcole) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: msm task with **/* in fileset uses wrong table. Initial Comment: I have a directory of files (lots of files and directories), so I'm using a fileset similar to this: <components> <component name="CoordinateSystems.0CCCBC15_4A56_4918_9456_3CB3A3646E19" id="{30396B51-25FD-4fbb-A863-FC979294F295}" attr="2" directory="D__CS" feature="F__DefaultFeature" keepsubdirs="true"> <key file="files.txt" /> <fileset basedir="Coordinate Systems"> <include name="**/*" /> </fileset> </component> </components> This builds a msm file, but Orca is reporting problems with it (even though it does seem to install). It appears that each directory is being created as a component in the FeatureComponent table, however orca deems this an error as the FeatureComponent table is supposed to be empty. Apparently, in an MSM file, these should be built in the ModuleComponents table (the lack of which is also flagged by orca). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Curtis Wensley (cwensley) Date: 2005-03-11 11:28 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=288230 I am getting the same problem. For me, it adds SOME items into the ModuleComponents, and some into the Components. Orca tells me that the entries in the Components table need a corresponding entry in the ModuleComponents.. Upon looking at a merge module that works (crystal reports, for example), it appears to have entries in both places without problems. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=474851&aid=1161589&group_id=54790 |
