The NanoStack project announces release of NanoStack v1.1.0, a popular protocol stack for 6lowpan. This update to NanoStack includes minor stability and feature improvements, along with the following major changes:
- Built-in AES encryption engine support
- ICMP gateway router discovery example
- Automatic interference avoidance with dynamic gateway router channel assignment
- Improved stability and performance
NanoStack is a 6lowpan IPv6 + IEEE 802.15.4 protocol stack, enabling wireless embedded and sensor networking. The goal is to help 6lowpan spread globally and to encourage new features from the IETF and ISA100 to be implemented and tested.
NanoStack-v1.0.3 has now been released. This update to NanoStack includes minor stability and feature improvements, integration of new Nano Series programming tools with better Cygwin support, and easier installation. This release now includes FreeRTOS sources, all needed programming tool libraries and pre-built binaries of all applications and tools for both Linux and Cygwin.
