We are pleased to announce the release of version 0.1.2 of our software. Nanodesigner is still only a molecular vizualization tool.

It is recommended to first read the 'Release Notes' before running the program. External libraries are now included in the release making installation a lot easier.

We are pleased to announce the first official release of our software. At this point in time Nanodesigner can be seen as a molecular vizualization tool. We are still a long way from our ultimate goal which is creating a tools platform intended for the design and analysis of new atomic structure or molecules, but we are getting there.

It is recommended to first read the 'Release Notes' before running the program. Documentation can be found in the docs directory. It should be sufficient to try out Nanodesigner. Interesting to know is that Nanodesigner is one of the first programs that is not a game that uses JOGL (Java bindings for OpenGL) for 3D visualization.... read more
