Finally, a new release, sorry for taking so long, I know it's been around 7 months since the last release. This was because I took a break from programming, but I'm back now, and I got a new computer as well, check the homepage for the details of the new computer.

Made najitool smarter, it now detects bad parameters and displays exactly
what was wrong, "command: too many parameters" or "command: not enough
parameters" and displays help for the command that was incorrectly used
in najitool. Valid command detection is now case insensitive which should
make najitool easier to use as well.... read more

Help system rewritten into a simpler to write design, and help items rearranged in alphabetical order so things are easier to find and update now, also from now on the help items are to be written in alphebetical order.

The "help examples" pages have been removed, but examples as well as "usage" has been implemented into the new help <command> system, and also "help commands" has been changed, it now displays the commands from the najitool_valid_commands array, but it doesn't display it in pages like it did before, it displays the whole thing in the screen, pausing at each screen full, which makes it even simpler.... read more

This release took a while I know, I always say that, it's because I couldn't work on it full time, I had big headaches for months.

This took ages, I know, but I hope that it was worth the wait. 42 new commands for najitool, which makes it over 100 commands now. The Unicode HTML version of eng2arab called e2ahtml is finally finished, I forgot to finish it for a few releases because I thought it was already finished and implemented but when I checked now, it wasn't so I finished that, which should be very useful to a lot of people. This release has some new and very useful functions:

[length]
convert between the most popular length formats:
mm, cm, inches, meters, feet, yards, km, miles.

[mkpatch]
makes a patch file to be used with qpatch out of differences between two files of the same size.

[qpatch]
patches a file from a patch file, it must be in format:

offset
value
offset
value

etc.

in plain ASCII numbers, offset being the place in the file you want to patch and value being the new value (a value between 0-255).... read more

This release is the same as naji_gui 0.1.0.0 BETA 2 but the bug where the program wasn't using the data in some of the edit boxes has been fixed. And there's also a setup release. I realise there is already naji_gui 0.2.0.0 but some people might prefere the concise design of naji_gui 0.1.0.0 more.

Fixes a bug in version 1 where the z letter was converted to the exact same letter as V.

As of time of writing, the following use this system:

I am hoping this transliteration system could be a standard for easily writing Arabic with English letters, to be used for web browsers etc. which could show Arabic in HTML files containing English letters.... read more

This new release has a lot better interface, it has descriptions of what the commands do next to the command name, and the commands are in different catagory tabs. It has two new bmps for the [naji_bmp] command, there's an encryption tab which implements [najcrypt], and [filejoin] has been added which joins two files, to be used for joining [filechop] files. And the bug where the program wasn't using the data in some of the edit boxes has been fixed. And there's a setup release as well which I promised. Enjoy.

najitool 0.5.0 is exactly the same as najitool 0.4.0 (they both use libnaji 0.3.0) except that it has a lot better help system, enjoy!

The second beta release is a lot easier to use than the first beta release. Now when you select a command, only the information that needs to be entered is displayed whereas what is not needed is hidden. And now instead of "1st Parameter" and "2nd Parameter", it changes according to what command you select, for example it changes to "Size in bytes", "No. of repeats", "Sentence", etc.

I'm very happy to release the first beta version of naji_gui, a Graphical User Interface version of najitool. This still has some bugs, that's why it's a beta, but the design is complete, there's a help system, and all the functions are there. Future versions should be easier to use with better help. I'm also planning to make a setup release where the user just downloads a naji_gui setup .EXE and clicks on it and it installs naji_gui on their computer.

Finally after 8 months, a new najitool and libnaji realease, with over 20 new functions, I hope you enjoy using this version. Why has it taken so long you ask? well, I took a break from computers, Internet, and programming for a while, but now I am back, Yippy!

I've written the every possible file generator now, you say the file size, and it generates every possible byte combination of files of that size.

sorry for taking so long for the new release, things have been pretty hectic here, i'm still working on the code though - when i have time, sometimes when i'm lucky i get around 3 hours a day to work on it. i've worked on the bmp generator and produced some nice patterns, the every single possible bmp generator is made (more or less), the files are different when i compare them but most of them just appear to be black - all the pixels (probably something to do with rgb), i'll put them in libnaji 0.2.0 anways as a beta function as well as the wav generator and code on how i did the nice patterns with bmp. developers please try to test the every possible bmp and wave generators and click on my username heyhelloworld if you find any bugs when the new version is released. right now i just want to finish simple functions that new programmers might need and test everything before i release the new libnaji and najitool, i really hope thats soon, this is taking a lot longer than i expected (as i was saying some hectic things happening here).

I have made libnaji 0.1.0 which is used by najitool 0.2.0, feel free to use libnaji 0.1.0 as well :) najitool 0.2.0 has some bug fixes as well and some enhancement for making random files, they're more random this time ;)

yep, it really is true, it's finally here, after years of waiting to be coded ;)
