Hi there. I'm noticing with multiple users, that with
the apache auth passing information, from what I've
read in the contacts.cfg file, it matches the htpass
user with contact_name. The part I'm having difficulty
with, is how the -pager or -email gets appened to that
contact_name part and the alias is what I would think
gets matched. Does this make any sense?

Actually, ignore all that, let me look at this fresh
again, but love the interface!!

The -pager and -email are appended by nagiosweb. When the
contact is created in the txt files it is defined twice.
This is what allows you to assign just a person's e-mail or
pager to a contact group instead of all or none.

Hope that helps, I'm closing this for now.

    Hi there !

The problem is that it does that. The Apache authentication
would have to be jdoe-pager or jdoe-email in order to match
    that field in contacts.cfg.

Would there be a way to have it append nothing so that it
would have the user contact name w/o that so it would match
    Apache?
