Hi,

I would love to try your application, well I did try but was unable to install
it. It would be really great if you had a distribution where it was fairly
simple to get up and running with nagios and nagiosweb.

I was trying to get up and going with Ubuntu Server 6.06 using their LAMP
server install, as this gives me Apache 2, MySQL 5 and PHP 5. I though
this would be an ideal platform to start a Nagios setup. I got nagios by
'apt-get install magios-mysql' but this turned out to be a version 1.3 of
nagios and wouldn't work with any of the web interfaces like nagiosweb.

I also tried to compile nagios 2.5 on this LAMP server but didn't have any
sucess.

I would like to request that you make a package for nagiosweb and its
dependancies so that people like me can get a working nagios and
nagiosweb up and running without the need to compile anything.
supporting a distro like Ubuntu server would be the easiest way to do
this.

If there is already a prefered distro with precompiled binaries, the close
this request and please put some info on what it is and how to get started
in the FAQ.

Thanks,

Dave.
