What is the problem with nagiosgraph?… I have installed and configured 1.4.4 and Nagios 3.3.1… The http://localhost/nagiosgraph/cgi-bin/showconfig.cgi shows no errors,,, all rrd files are generated, no error in nagiosgraph.log and perfdata.log….. I have turned on debugging,, and there is no error messages what so ever..
There is no graph , only an empty box…
I have spent two days troubleshooting, but to no avail…pls. assist if you can…
check your web server error log. messages from show*.cgi will go to the web server log file if you have not specified a separate cgi log file, or if the permissions are not set correctly on the nagiosgraph.log file.
view the contents of the rrd files with 'rrdtool dump filename'. do they contain valid data? are they being updated?
Have same problem. I have rrd files. Its updated, no errors into nagiosgraf.log and perfdata.log files, showconfig.cgi script shows no errors also, but I have in my apache error file next:
Can't opendir(/var/nagios/rrd): Permission denied, referer: https://localhost/nagios/cgi-bin/showgroup.cgi?group=SSH&period=day,week,month&expand_period=day
at /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagiosgraph/ngshared.pm line 2046, referer: https://localhost/nagios/cgi-bin/showgroup.cgi?group=SSH&period=day,week,month&expand_period=day
That's quite strange because I have 775 permitions for /var/nagios/rrd folder and all its subfoldes
]# ls -l /var/nagios/
drwxrwxr-x. 36 nagios nagios 4096 Jul 5 12:10 rrd
Could you give me idea what I've done wrong.
Thank you in advance,
I'm impressed how this forum is handy! (Sarcastic) Just in case if somebody has same problem, the problem was in SeLinux. It should be disabled or rrd directory should add to SeLinux rules..
