I am pulling the data written by nagios-db via odbc/dts package into sql 
server for reporting using cognos. Looking at the data, it looks like 
the service_check table is updated, rather than inserts as checks 
happen. Is this the case? If it is, then it looks like the meat for 
reporting purposes lies in the service_history and host_history tables. 
Is this a correct assumption? Any thoughts, comments or advise is and 
will be appreciated.
