After the installation of version 12.1.1 (according to the installation instructions) imported tours (HAC5) can not be saved anymore. Stack trace and session data see attachment.
this is the important message:
Caused by: org.apache.derby.client.am.SqlException: An SQL data change is not permitted for a read-only connection, user or database.
It seem, that you do not have write access for the location where the derby database is located
When you google the internet for this error, you can find this: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21428150 With this tip:
"To resolve you can either use the Root user, or double check permissions within the Derby file structure to ensure your user can access everything."
OK - thanks.
Obviously the update procedure did change the user the "root" of some files in the seg0 and log directories of the derby directory structure:
../mytourbook/derby-database/tourbook/log and /mytourbook/derby-database/tourbook/seg0
Changed user of the appropriate files (sudo chown <username> <file(s)>). After that saving the imported tours works again.
as far as I know, the update should not touch the data directory only the plugin and feature folders, but I'm not 100% sure
but it's good to hear that all is now working as it should
