There's a hardware bug in the Tungsten T3's serial port, that makes
it impossible to turn off hardware handshaking on the T3s. (T1 and
T2 are supposed to work ok.)

A workaround is to connect Pin 6 an 7 on the 9-Pin SubD connector
(Pin 13 and 15) on the Palm Handheld A connector.
