Hi Thanks for the great fun project!
I've installed the firmware and can connect to the device in access point mode with the windows app.
When trying to access the webserver at 192.168.4.1 I get "File not found"
I've un-commented the #define webserver in controller_config.h
Any idea what is wrong?
Also, I notice that the heat sink on the L7805 regulator gets quite hot. Is this normal?
Thanks Joe
I figured it out..... I did not perform the ESP32 Sketch Data Upload.
Still wondering why the regulator is getting hot.....
Hi Joe the LM7805 must be fitted with a suitable heatsink. I added some notes about this in the PDF, pages 36-37. It will give you some good ideas.
You can drop the external supply down to 9V and that will help with reducing the heat.
regards Robert
