    Hi Phil
I really need to know what the ascom driver is doing,

Please enable the trace (in the ASCOM driver setup/configure) and then try again.
After it fails. please post the ascom trace log, in documents/ASCOM/Logs ,,,,
    it looks something like
    ASCOM.mySQM+ ASCOM-OC.0241.462970.txt
and there is probably more than 1 file

I also need to know which version of the ASCOM Driver you are using

    Regards
    Robert

I think I am seeing the same issue after I upgraded the mySQM+ firmware from 129-04 to 134-01 . The ASCOM driver (version 021) fails to connect - it gets a conversion error, similar to Phil.
Reverting to firmware 129-04 works as expected.
I don't think I have changed anything between the firmware configurations, but... :-)
See attached trace files when connecting to mySQM+ with ASCOM Diagnostics tool with both versions

    Thanks... Paul

      Please try version 024

      https://sourceforge.net/projects/mysqmproesp32/files/APPLICATIONS/ASCOM/

You are recommended to uninstall the previous version using Control Panel first
      After uninstall, check
      C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ASCOM\ObservingConditions
for a sub folder named mysqmplus
If the folder exists, delete it

      If the files
      ASCOM.mySQMPLUS.ObservingConditions.dll
      mySQMPLUSASCOMReadMe.htm
      exist in the folder
      C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ASCOM\ObservingConditions
      then delete them

Once that is done, install the new 024 driver by running the setup program
      mySQMPLUS-ASCOMOC-024.exe

      Hi Phil

The ASCOM log trace does not show any errors at all. It does not match up with the NINA log. So I am unable to match this up with each other.

      There are two options
      1. wait till next update is available
      2. try with NINA again, with both logs enabled, till NINA reports crash of ASCOM OC driver, then get the two logs back to me.

I suspect that it will be a quick fix though and am happy to provide an interim update to get it going for you.

      Regards
      Robert
