Recently I saw a lot of new docmuments and apps updated, but where is the new firmware? Also I noticed you uploaded a new Rev. 05 PCB board. My Rev.04 board just arrived and I already finish assemble all and tested. Just I haven't insert the lens into the cover yet. I noticed there are SQM value difference between with and without lens.
Now I need to settle the ESP32 upload issue by adding 10uF capacitor on it first.
Regards,
Tom

Rev5 only expands J11 the WindSpeed connector to 4 pins from 3 pins. This was done to support the JeeLabs anemometer which uses an inbuilt temperature sensor for calibration purposes. Remember that the JeeLabs was not the recommended anemometer though. It would be easy to retro fit the Rev4 board using a JeeLabs because there is only one extra pin involved - it is what all of us are doing with Rev4 boards who want to use the JeeLabs anemometer.
There is a compensation factor in the new firmware to account for light transmission loss when using a lens. The PDF clearly explains this.
The latest firmware is with a group of testers. It is not ready for release. I do not have a time frame for this yet.

Ah... I see. Glad to hear that. Can't wait to test the new firmware out. :)
