In .Net 2.0, all database members are derived from a
common database object: System.Data.Common.
This is a great improvement because only at connection
time we have to know the exact database we’re dealing
with. Once created we can use all databases the same way.
If we create a DbProviderFactory derived class, we can
even create all database objects like connection, etc
from the base class.
