.Net Data Provider for MySQL / News: Recent posts

Hello everybody,

as I can see from the statistics, some of you downloaded the MySQL Data Provider. I hope it will be useful for your projects :-)

In the meantime I have developed an application myself that makes heavy use of the data provider and I only could find some more few bugs (as you can see from the change log), so I'd consider this software a pretty stable.

Now I'd like to ask for some feedback, positive as well as negative (especially BUGS!), please tell me if you use it in your projects, or the reason why not ;-)... read more

The new release contains a couple of bugfixes (change log). In the meantime I think, this software has reached Beta status (currently I'm developing a three-tiered application with it)..
I'm also still working on getting CVS to work so please be patient and help yourself with the ZIP file :-)

I have released the first version of the MySQL Data Provider. I have implemented 100%, but had only time to run a couple of tests.
I have included a small example application that shows how to use the DataAdpater, parameterized queries, Unicode, Blobs and Transactions.

recently I have developed this software in the course of my thesis. Still, I haven't found the time to publish the source code.

PS: Currently it's in Alpha stage, all functionality is implemented, I ran several tests but not too any until now.
