I'm guessing as to the problem here, but it looks like a
cross-compilation error. Is libstdc++ compiled 64bit?
Does it need to be to link to 64bit mysql libraries?

Ah, this bit I can help with :-)
This depends on how MySQL was installed. Most installation layouts put
the mysql headers in ${prefix}/include/mysql/ so if ${prefix}/include is
in your include path then <mysql/mysql.h> will find the header.
