[Mysqlcppapi-main] capi is not getting installed when i installed mysql on my linux box

Hello Sir,

    I installed mysql on my linux box. I need to connect from c++ to my sql
using c mysql api. But the problem with my sql installation the include  and
library files are not installed. What to do? please suggest.
