Weird-looking widget set in 0.9.8 on Windows

Hi, the user interface widget set seems to have gotten worse since the 0.9.2 beta. I just installed 0.9.8 on Windows (actually, just extracted the zip file), and 0.9.2 beta looked much better. Is there something I can do to improve the UI look?

  I also get an error on startup: Could not load Syntax File: '/usr/share/mysqlcc/syntax.txt'
