[Mysql-cocoa-users] "(null)" is replacing text in fields

We are observing that some text fields are having their content replaced 
with the string "(null)" and wondered if this has been observed by anyone 
else using mysql cocoa ?  BTW I have not been able to access the list 
archive to search on this topic.
